Condolence From: Betty (Wetrosky) Bass
Condolence: Dear, dear DeAnna, First and foremost, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother, Donny. I pray that the Lord will give you strength and that He will comfort you. DeAnna (we used to call you Dee-Dee), obviously we completely lost contact with your family. I had no idea you were in Hastings, NE, and that Don was in Remsen. I have such good and warm memories of you and all your family, DeAnna. And, like my brother, John, said, we lived on the farm to the south of you. I remember country school days and you looking out for us younger ones. I remember staying at your home while Mom and Dad went ... ? ... (It's been many years ago!) I would love to write more to you so would appreciate your address or your email address in order to do so. I would have liked to attend the service or at least the visitation in Le Mars however I've had a bad cold/cough since before Christmas and I'm sure venturing out wouldn't do me much good; nor, would others appreciate me coming around. May the Lord be with you and with all Don's family, Betty

Condolence From: John Wetrosky
Condolence: I knew him as "Donny". My Wetrosky family farm was located just 1/8 mile south of the Luksan farm in Lincoln Township, Iowa. I attended Lincoln #2 country school with Donny's sister Dianna up to the second grade. Donny's parents Fritz and Alouha were very good neighbors to my folks, Clyde and Millie Wetrosky as was Donny's uncle Herman. I always remember Herman's exploits as a sharpshooting trap shooter! I and my wife Jackie's sympathy to Donny's family. He was a part of our farm history. We now live in northern Minnesota in the small town of Pine River.
