Randy Bock, 36, of Le Mars passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Parish – St. Joseph Church in Le Mars. Father Matt Solyntjes will celebrate Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at St. Joseph Church. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Monday.

Randall Gene Bock was born on November 23, 1981 in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Gordon and Tammy (Jager) Bock. He attended grade school in Le Mars and later graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 2000 where he played football. Following graduation, Randy took a position in the freezer at Wells Dairy in Le Mars. He also worked part-time at Fedders Marine and RV. Randy was currently a Lead Man in the production department at Wells.

On April 24, 2004, Randy and Amber Weiler were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen, Iowa. Randy’s greatest love was his family. He liked to take his kids swimming and fishing. They also spent time together having movie nights. Randy was a “hands on” guy and enjoyed welding, fabricating and woodworking. Grilling and smoking were also one of his specialties.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Amber Bock of Le Mars, IA; their children, Reese, Brenna, Brooklyn, Riley and Faith all at home; his parents, Gordon and Tammy Bock of Le Mars, IA; grandmother, Dorothy Bock of Le Mars, IA; sisters, Sarah (Melissa) Jensen of Edwardsville, IL and Dani (Fiance, Jon Rahmig) Bock of Le Mars, IA; a nephew, Connor Bock; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gwen and Jerry Weiler of Le Mars, IA; sister-in-law, Heather and Kevin Ortmann and their children, Cole, Blaine and Kellen of Remsen, IA, a brother-in-law, Eric and Laura Weiler and their children, Mya and Ty of Le Mars, IA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald Bock, Henrietta and Hilbert Jager; nieces, Makayla Bock and Macy Weiler, and a nephew, Caleb Weiler.
