Condolence: Please accept my sincere sympathy in the passing of a genuinely kind individual that Betty Emge was to everyone. I am truly grateful for the opportunities that Betty provided for me at Capitol Life/Integrated Resources/MetLife. Betty always insisted in treating employees fairly and respectfully. I will always have fond memories of our friendship and teamwork together. My prayers and thoughts are with the Emge family in the loss of loving and caring person such as Betty.

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to hear of Betty's passing. She was a GREAT lady and helped in not only in my career but my personal life as well. She had a kind word to say about everything and always loooked at the positive side of everything and everyone she came in contact with. She was very proud of her children and her grandchildren were the 'apple of her eyes'. She also loved her husband John with all her heart. She will be missed but is looking down on all who knew her with the great smile of hers.

Condolence: I am too saddend to hear this of Betty. she gave me my first job and continued to be a friend to me through the years. We kinda lost touch when she moved from Loveland to Iowa, but believe me, she has ALWAYS been in my heart and thoughts. I know how deeply she loved her family and fondly recall the stories of John, Twila and Marty. When each grandchild came along, seeing the joy on her face and the love in her voice made me want to become a part of her family. I will always remember the loving person she was and how in my young inexperience years, she taught me so much through her love of family and her faith. We were able to share our faith many of times and she demonstrated on a daily basis hers. I recall how she would leave work at lunch hour and visit mass. I recall how she would tell me about the horses and chickens and cows (to a city girl) and my fascination. Yes, Betty is missed. She left a legacy of love and compassion. May God greet her with his loving arms saying, "I've been waiting for you Betty, come on in".
