Macy Marie Weiler was born on January 4, 2016 at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, the fourth child born to Eric and Laura (Beitelspacher) Weiler. Macy’s heart issues gave her the distinction of belonging to “Heart Heroes,” a group of children born with heart conditions. Through this extended family many lifelong friends were made along with support and understanding. With this recognition, Macy received a super hero cape and the courage to challenge her illness and a brave fighter she was.

Macy was a very happy baby with a smile that could light up the room. She loved to watch her brother, Ty and sister, Mya play. They often joined her in her crib at bedtime for stories. She loved it when they talked to her. She especially loved playing with her bunny toy.

Grateful to have shared her life are her parents, Eric and Laura (Beitelspacher), her brother, Ty and sister, Mya of Le Mars, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Henry and Becky Beitelspacher, paternal grandparents, Jerry and Gwen Weiler all of Le Mars, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Kyle Beitelspacher, Troy and Amanda Beitlespacher, Lisa and Joe Eickholt, Jackie and Kevin Breuer and Ryan Beitlespacher all of Le Mars, Iowa, Heather and Kevin Ortmann of Remsen, Iowa, Amber and Randy Bock of Le Mars, Iowa; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Caleb; and her maternal and paternal great-grandparents.
