My deepest condolences to Douglas's family. Words can not express the pain and sadness that comes from being separated from our loved ones by death. Take comfort in knowing that this sadness is only temporary as we are given the promise at Revelation 21:4 where it says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Then the hope of being reunited with our loved ones by means of an earthly resurrection (Acts 24:15) will be fulfilled. Until this hope is realized, I hope these promises of a better future ahead will bring you much comfort, for they will not fail to come true.
