Obituary for Frank Eugene Hutchinson
Frank E. Hutchinson, 49, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home following a lengthy illness. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Pastor Dan Krause of the Rock Solid Assembly of God Church will officiate. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Frank Eugene Hutchinson was born on February 14, 1970, in Sac City, Iowa, the son of Frank Eugene and Judy Ann (Wall) Hutchinson. He attended school in Sac City and graduated from Sac City High School in 1989. After high school, Frank worked at the local Pizza Hut where he cooked and delivered pizzas. He would later move to Le Mars, Iowa where he worked as a CNA at The Abbey of Le Mars and at Happy Siesta Care Center in Remsen, Iowa. Frank also loved to cook and he worked over the years at Mr. P’s Pizza House, J & J Café, and the Family Table.
Frank enjoyed playing games with his family. He adored his dogs and liked playing with them. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He often shared stories with his nephew, Jacob, about his younger years. He had a large collection of beer steins, Star Wars collectables, Hot Wheels and Scentsy warmers which he proudly displayed. Most of all, Frank cherished the time he spent with his son, Noah.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Noah Nelson – Hutchinson of Le Mars, IA; three sisters, Kelly (Ray) Hemmelman of Le Mars, IA, Kristy Hutchinson of Le Mars, IA and Jennifer Corrin of Sioux City, IA; a special friend, Loriann Nelson of Le Mars, IA; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Eugene Hutchinson and Judy Ann Corrin.
