Obituary for Ann Clare Mosher (Wurth)

Ann C. Mosher, 66, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Unity Point Health in Sioux City, Iowa. A Graveside Service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.

Ann Clare Mosher was born on August 12, 1953 in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of Louis N. and Mary C. (Ruether) Wurth. She graduated in 1972 from Gehlen Catholic High School in Le Mars. After high school, Ann worked as a waitress for a few years before enrolling in the Medical Secretary program at Western Iowa Technical Community College in Sioux City, Iowa. She worked at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City for 23 years as a medical secretary. Ann later took a position as a phlebotomist at Life Serve (Siouxland Blood Bank) and worked there until she retired on January 2, 2018.

Ann’s favorite thing to do was spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughter, Aspen. playing cards and games. She also enjoyed going to the casino and shopping.

Grateful to have shared her life is her son, Ross Mosher and his daughter, Aspen of Le Mars, IA; her siblings, Janice (Mrs. Jerry) Wurth of Le Mars, IA, Cathy Gusa, Mary Lou (Mrs. Fritz) Donlin and Nick Wurth all of Truth or Consequences, NM; John (Kathleen) Wurth of Spring Grove, IL, Ted (Jerilyn) Wurth of Sioux Falls, SD, Theresa Wurth and Jean (Joe) Ryba both of Le Mars, IA, Lisa (Don) Claeys and Barb Wurth both of Sioux City, IA; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister, Pamela Wurth; a brother, Jerry Wurth; niece, Angie Wurth; and a great-niece, Ashley Wurth; and a brother-in-law, Francis “Fritz” Donlin.
