Obituary for Kimberly Kaye Plueger
Le Mars, Iowa – Kimberly Plueger, 53, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Graveside services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Grant Township. Rev. Shawn Brooks will officiate.
Kimberly K. Plueger was born on August 31, 1967 in Le Mars, Iowa to Stanley and Helen (Torwelle) Plueger. She went to school at Le Mars Community Schools and graduated in 1985. At a young age Kim was diagnosed with diabetes. This greatly affected her health throughout the rest of her life.
Kim enjoyed cooking and baking and having barbeques with her friends. She loved kids and was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Kim liked having fun and hanging out with her friends. Over the years, she was employed at Lally’s, Pamida and Zestos.
She will lovingly remembered by her brother Kelly and his wife Julie Plueger of Craig, Iowa; her step-brother, Dennis Peterson of Sioux City, Iowa; a niece, Isabelle Marie Plueger; an aunt, Janice Torwelle and several cousins.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Fred and Minnie Plueger and Carl and Clara Torwelle.
