David Darwin Conrad, 67, of Le Mars, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 9, 2022. A time of fellowship and sharing memories will take place on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Le Mars Senior Center.
David Darwin Conrad was born on February 18, 1955, in Yankton, South Dakota, the son of Raymond and Jeanette (Brouillard) Conrad. The family moved to South Sioux City, Nebraska where David graduated from high school.
On September 17, 1977, David and Diann Pick were untied in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen, Iowa. The couple made their home in Sioux City. David worked at various businesses in the Sioux City area including Safeway Grocery, Southern Hills Mall Security, Gateway and Walmart.
He is survived by his wife, Diann Conrad of Le Mars, IA; his children and their spouses, Jesse and Amanda Conrad of Le Mars, IA, Nathan and Erica Conrad of Sioux City, IA, Kassondra and Roy Dimmitt of Moville, IA and Callista and Colton Beaulieu of Hinton, IA; grandchildren, Tobin, Aurora, Geneva, Miles, Sawyer, Lucian, Easton, Ava, Ella, Clay, Quinn and one on the way; a sister and her husband, Janice and Bernie Cain of South Sioux City, NE; brothers, Jerry and Gale Conrad of Sioux City, IA, Marvin and Chris Conrad of Dakota City, NE and Robert Conrad of South Sioux City, NE; along with numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Chuck Conrad.
