Obituary for Todd Curtis Ross
Todd Curtis Ross, 59, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Rev. Christian Meier will officiate. Visitation with the family present will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Todd Curtis Ross was born on May 8, 1963, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Curtis H. and Mary Lou (Vogelzang) Ross. He attended Le Mars Community Schools, graduating in 1982. Following graduation, Todd worked as a delivery driver for his father, Curt at Ross Meats. He would later work with Bearz Concrete in Le Mars.
In earlier years, Todd liked woodworking. He was a handyman and could fix almost anything. He enjoyed art and drawing and appreciated music. Todd also repaired and built bicycles and was currently working on building an electric bike.
Grateful to have shared his life is his mother, Mary Ross of Le Mars, IA; a brother, Craig Ross of Sioux Falls, SD; aunts and uncles; Roberta (Duane) Rath of Fremont, NE, Janet Welch of Kearney, NE, June (Larry) Kenton of Kearney, NE, Bill (Leslie) Ross of Cedar Rapids, IA, Bob (Jennifer) Richey of Omaha, NE, Bill Richey of Norfolk, NE, Diane Ross of San Antonio, TX, Joyce Gronemeyer of Le Mars, IA and Frank Vogelzang of Sioux City, IA; along with numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Ross on July 9, 2019; grandparents, Curtis H. Ross and Irene and E. C. “Bud” Ross, Frank and Frances Vogelzang; aunts and uncles, Scott Ross, Bradley Ross, Elinor and Dennis Martin, Wayne Gronemeyer and Carmen Groth.
