Merrill, Iowa – James A. Larocque, 55, of Merrill, Iowa passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his home. A private memorial service is planned.
James Arthur Larocque was born on July 6, 1960 in Farmington, New Mexico to Maurice and Nella Jo (James) Larocque. He was raised in Mount Clemens, Michigan where he attended Mount Clemens High School. On July 11, 1981 James and Kimberley Hodges were united in marriage at the United Methodist Church in Mount Clemens. Together they had three children, James Jr., Jeremy, and Tiffanie.
In 1984, James began working for The Paslin Company in Mount Clemens. In 2006, he began working at Food & Fuel in Leeds, Iowa. From there he went to work at Well’s Blue Bunny on the line.
James enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. A few of his favorite television series included Rifleman, M-A-S-H and watching football games.
He will be lovingly remembered by Kim; his children James Jr, Jeremy, and Tiffanie ; grandchildren Lucas, Olivia, and Abigail ; his mother Nella Jo James; his siblings Kathy, Cindy, Patti, Daniel and Cecelia.
He is preceded in death by his father and his brother David Larocque.
