Please accept my sincere condolences. The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. The words quoted at Isaiah 25:8 have comforted me greatly. It reads :"He(God) will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” May you find hope and comfort in knowing that, soon, by means of God's Kingdom, no one will ever fall prey of this merciless ‘enemy’(1 Corinthians 15:26).

Wow, we truly lost one of the great ones from the old school, as they say. To grow up in a neighborhood where Bob and Laura Langel were my 2nd mom and dad was quite a blessing. I consider myself very lucky to have had a person like Bob Langel in my life from my earliest memories as a child. In the past few years whenever I would see Bob and Laura I would often thank them for all the camping trips they took me on to Okboji and many other various lakes in Minnesota ( Bob knew them all) and the wonderful trip to Canada to Lake of the Woods which I have never forgotten. We used to laugh and laugh when we would reminisce about the old neiborhood, he also had a great memory it seems of Nick and I getting into trouble which in itself was very funny. Yes, all the sleep overs ( like every weekend) and all the camping trips I was always treated like a member of the family and I felt like a member and never thought twice about it. Such wonderful memories, I could go on and on, thanks Bob and Laura for making me family, I will cherish it forever.
