I am so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. What a great guy he was! I had the pleasure of meeting with him once a month when I was the Infection Control nurse at SARH. I still remember him coming to the meeting in LeMars with the telemetry unit on, just checking to be sure that we didn't need anything since he (obviously) couldn't stay. Those were the good ol' days! He will be greatly missed!! Rest in peace, Bob. Prayers for you and your family.

My message is for Kim, I am so sorry to read of your dad's passing. I worked with both of your parents back in the 70's at St. Johns Hospital in Huron. I was a nurse with your mom and your dad worked in the lab. We had so much fun at work!! I remember when our daughters came along--my daughter Amy in October 1974 & you came along the following spring. We had lots of mommy/daughter play dates (who had money in those days :). And that was before little brothers came along!! Ironically both you & Amy ended up in Pierre! It was a sad time when you guys moved to Mitchell (509 E 2nd street I believe--not sure why I remember that!!!) We did our best to stay in touch, but our lives took us in other directions--no social media ;)! I just wanted to take a minute to express my sympathy. Sure sounds like Bob had a great life--full of love! My best to you (and a hug for your mom)!

Lisa, Fr. Jeff, and all of the Norfolk Family:
My sympathy to all of you on Bob’s death. I remember very much, the many times Bob shared his presence at the Mens’ Group at St. James on Saturday mornings !!!
I have a priest classmate who’s Funeral is in Des Moines on Tuesday morning, so I will be unable to make either the Wake or the Funeral.
Again, my sympathy to all of you, and the assurance of my continued prayers for Bob and all of you!!!
God bless,
Fr. E

Condolences to Bob's family. I knew Bob way back to the Mitchell days. Was always a treat to hang out with Bob. Always upbeat and positive. Enjoyed many raquet ball games with him.
Thoughts and prayers and precious memories be with you all.
